My Story
My name is Monika Kuros, and I'm here to walk alongside you on your path to personal transformation. I understand the weight of excessive anxiety, sadness, and loneliness, particularly the lingering impact of growing up in a dysfunctional family environment. It’s a challenging process to break free from old patterns alone, but I believe you deserve the chance to experience a life filled with more joy, hope, and meaningful connections.
Let's embark on this journey together. I offer a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship where you can build inner strength and resilience. Since the age of 15, my passion has been to alleviate suffering, helping people understand themselves, solve problems, and cultivate a kind relationship with themselves. My mother modeled the importance of respect, empathy, and genuine care in all interactions, shaping my approach as a therapist.
My academic journey began with a psychology degree at Panteion University in Greece, followed by specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Schema Therapy in Poland. Furthering my expertise, I returned to Greece for advanced studies in both Hypnotherapy and CBT. This international training allows me to offer therapy sessions in Polish, Greek, and English.
I believe true fulfillment stems from deeper self-understanding. I’m committed to guiding you through the labyrinth of your own psyche, helping you dismantle barriers and discover your authentic self and potential. Investing in your well-being is not a privilege, it's necessary.
I offer a personalized approach, creating a non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and needs. I’m dedicated to being a helping hand as we navigate toward a brighter tomorrow. I am also the author of a Greek-language book on depression and am currently writing a book in Polish titled, 'Myśl, Czuj, Działaj: Terapia CBT na Drodze do Wewnętrznej Harmonii' (Think, Feel, Act: CBT Therapy on the Path to Inner Harmony). My Mission
From early years, I keenly observed people, feeling deep empathy for those burdened by sadness and discontent, impacting their relationships. I yearned for a world filled with joy. Fascinated by the psyche, I believe we can shift how we perceive our lives. Each deserves to be heard, understood, and given space to grow. My mission is to be that guiding hand, helping you remove daily masks, uncover inner potential, and embrace your inherent strength. Waste no more days feeling isolated or misunderstood. Let's explore self-love despite external opinions, and together build a life of peace and purpose.

My Method
My practice is built on tailoring every session to your unique needs. Our first meeting explores your concerns, building a shared understanding and a bespoke plan. Drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and hypnotherapy techniques, I adapt my approach to help you achieve your goals. I work with depression, anxiety, relationship challenges at work or in your family, and navigate difficult life stages like job loss, managing grief, emotional overwhelm, emptiness, low motivation, apathy, stress, or daily hurdles. Every session is carefully designed. Prior to our work together, you will receive a contract detailing our terms of agreement. As a therapist who values best practices, I attend weekly supervision.
My office is based in Athens, Greece. Sessions are 60 minutes long, conducted via Skype or Zoom, and cost 50 euros each. Typically, we meet once weekly. I believe in empowering you to create lasting change.
